Durham City Scuba offers an extremely high level of training. PADI states that all students will master the skills in the pool before entering the open water. This is the exact syatem we teach to. No student will be allowed in the open water untill they have mastered the 20 skills and are confident and comfortable in their new enviroment.

The Open Water Course comes with free Beaver mask, snorkel and fins, and a PADI platinum open water pack is included. (this may not mean much now but this is the best pack PADI produce). It includes an Open water DVD and ERDP (electronic recreational dive planner, to make dive planning easy) All this is included in the price. The only extra cost that could be incurred is the admission into the open water dive sites of Capernwray and Ellerton.
